But at the end of the day, our Google experts said that if people are looking for our blog, they aren’t going to search “The Duck Stops Here”. Or sadly, “Kevin”.
So, welcome to the Accent Inns Blog, where we’ll post stories about what’s going on in our hotels, at our locations, and more.
(By the way, if you do come up with a great name for the blog, let us know—and then we’ll let our experts know, who will let Google and Bing and all the other search engines know. You know?)
Accent Inns founder, Terry Farmer, wins prestigious Governor General’s Caring Canadian Award After handing over the reins of the family business, Accent Inns and Hotel Zed, to his daughter Mandy Farmer in 2008, some might have expected Terry Farmer would move on to a relaxing retirement. That however, was not the case.
What do we do to celebrate on St Patrick’s Day. Wear our green and feel Irish for the day, drink green Guinness, Smithwicks, Kilkenny or Harp, and celebrate with stories and songs like “Oh Danny Boy”. The pubs are decked out with shamrocks, serve Irish fare and play Irish tunes.
What better way to usher in Spring than having one last winter fling? There are around 20 ski resorts in B.C. all of which offer so many adventurous things to do you’d be hard pressed to find a more exciting way to spend spring break no matter the age of your kids.
A re-print from AFABC Spring! A time of new growth, a time to fling open those heavy drapes and pack away the winter layers for at least a few months.
