Yes, you heard us right, BC Pioneer’s Day! Did you know that the British Columbia Day Act was first introduced to the Legislative Assembly in 1974, with the aim of the Bill to create a statutory holiday to recognize the pioneers in the province? You learn something new every day.
These are three that Mozart began but never finished. Two are Italian comedies, and the third a German romance. In just over a year, City Opera presents our reconstruction of these ‘lost’ fragments, now set in the 21st Century. The music is wondrous.
I don’t remember any trips with my own grandparents, but now I’m at that stage of my life where I have grandchildren and the topic of going on a multi-generational vacation is in the air.
