All over metro Vancouver, de-light-ful Christmas displays are warming our winter nights and lighting up our Instagram feeds. It’s worth a trip to Vancouver just to see them in person! Don’t forget—when you stay with us before December 31, you’ll be entered to win a $500 prepaid Visa card! Here are five of the best Christmas light displays this season:

Festival of Lights at VanDusen Garden

A classic Vancouver Christmas event, Vandusen Gardens celebrates the holidays with over one million lights! If that wasn’t magical enough for you, every ticket to the Festival of Lights includes one ride on the carousel!

Bright Nights in Stanley Park

Iconic Stanley Park hosts a perfect winter wonderland! A ride on the Bright Nights train will take you on a journey of over 3 million Christmas Lights and holiday displays. A portion of each ticket sales and entrance donations go to support the B.C. Professional Firefighters’ Burn Fund.

Heritage Christmas at Burnaby Village Museum

Reconnect with Christmases of Yore at the Burnaby Village Museum! Admission to the museum is free, and you’ll be welcomed into an interactive village, fully decorated for the season. With baking in the Farmhouse, singalongs, crafts and an interactive sound and light display, the whole family can enjoy this wholesome, old-fashioned Christmas outing!

Canyon Lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park

Capilano’s woodland suspension bridge is a stunning sight year-round, but when covered in Christmas lights it becomes downright whimsical. This year, the park has decorated the 30-ton Douglas Fir trees that surround the bridge, making them the largest Christmas trees in the world. And there are eight of them!
