Accent Inns BC hotel chain is thrilled to continue the Olympic spirit and welcome the coming of the Paralympic Games to Vancouver 2010.

“I’m so excited that I have a chance to  watch  Sledge Hockey. All of our Paralympic athletes have worked so hard to get here and it’s a thrill to be able to cheer them on in person” said Mandy Farmer, CEO Accent Inns.

This is the Second year that Accent Inns InnAid program has sponsored the Charity in Changing times seminar series.

One of the highlights of my year so far has been spending the morning at the Victoria Accent Inns’ Charity in Changing Time event with a room full of not-for-profit organizations wanting to learn more about how to effectively tell their stories through traditional and on-line media, how to increase their on-line presence, and how to better communicate with their volunteers. When I visited the Travel medical Clinic they forgot to do one important test – a psychiatric assessment. Nobody in their right mind would voluntarily spend 16 days walking uphill wearing hiking boots, multiple layers of clothing and a backpack until they get to a place that’s really cold and there is very little oxygen! They should have an immunization to stop people doing such things.
