Tour de Victoria
We knew Ryder Hesjedal would lead the big 140km ride, but now Simon Whitfield will lead the 90km ride and Silken Laumann will lead the community ride.

Ryder Hesjedal’s Tour de Victoria is a supported mass participation cycling event, catering to all ages and fitness levels by offering three distances: 140km for the enthusiast, 90km for the entry-level rider and an up to 1.5 hour Community Ride for beginners, families, and for those who want to experience cycling for the first time.

The participant's have permission to store their bikes in their guest room.
An outdoor washing station with a hose, bucket, rags will be available.

Tour de Victoria is presented by the Victoria International Cycling Festival Society, a registered non-profit society in the Province of British Columbia.
For 2011 the "Tour" is supporting Power To Be Adventure Therapy. All proceeds from the Community Ride will go to Power To Be - a Victoria B.C. based charity that provides dynamic outdoor education programs that enrich the health and quality of life of youth, adults, and families facing significant life changes.
