Victoria BC Kayaking Package

Kayaking is a fantastic and unique way to see Victoria and Southern Vancouver Island. Our Victoria hotel is just a few blocks away from one of the nicest recreational waterways anywhere, The Gorge waterway.
The Accent Inn Victoria hotel has partnered with the folks at Selkirk Station to offer a really exciting Kayaking package.

The package includes a wonderful room at Accent Inn's Victoria hotel, all the included amenities and a two hour kayak for 2.

Selkirk Station, where you pick up your kayaks is located just across the water. Take a nice walk (approx 20-25 minutes and you get to cross the wonderful trestle pictured above) or pick-up can be arranged 24 hours in advance.

Double and single Kayaks are available and all required equipment is provided. Guests should dress in layers and many people bring a change in shoes for paddling.

Kayakers have easy access to the Selkirk and Gorge waterways of the Upper Victoria BC harbour. The calm protected waters are home to lots of wildlife: eagles, herons, river otters, osprey, songbirds, gulls, cormorants and many other seabirds. Victoria's famous inner harbour attracts all kinds of boaters, is also a floatplane airport, shipping and marine repair center, ferry terminal and even has a cruise ship terminal and Canadian Coast Guard base at the outer edge. Here you'll find lots of activity to watch or quiet coves and inlets to explore.
