The Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club will be hosting a pair of pre-season events out at historic Nat Bailey Stadium that will give fans of all ages the chance to enjoy the ballpark this upcoming Father’s Day weekend.

On Saturday, June 19th, the Canadians will open up the gates to ‘The Nat’ for their first “Movie Night at The Nat” showing the classic baseball movie “Bad News Bears” staring Walter Mathau.  This classic film is rated ‘G’ and will be featured on the new Canadians Diamond Vision to all who wish to come and enjoy a movie full of fresh air under the stars.

Again this year Accent Inns is collaborating with the Vancouver International Song Institute in mounting the annual Institute event June 4 – 23, 2010 at the UBC School of Music.

The Vancouver International Song Institute is a hard beast to explain – and many wonder where it is?   What’s its address?   The Vancouver International Song Institute – VISI – isn’t a place, it’s an event.   It includes a training program for voice students and collaborative pianists, a series of lectures and workshops for voice and piano teachers to learn to improve their teaching.  It also includes lectures and singing workshops for the general public and a series of public concerts. Well, we’ve just finished our second annual Accent Inns – source group Charity in Changing times seminars.  This year we expanded the reach and put on the seminars at our Accent Inn Victoria hotel, Burnaby hotel and for the first time our Kelowna hotel.

The topic was communications and we were so please to have and incredible troupe of travelling experts. These experts, Robin Holden with the Source group, Ross Dunn with Stepforth Web marketing, Melinda Jolley with Tartan PR, were joined by local media representatives at each event. (more…)

Victoria Hotel Chain Remembers Remembrance Day
