Late last year we were just finishing our massive exterior renovations at all 5 Accent Inns when it occurred to us that this was a much needed rebirth for our 26 year old company. “As we finished our renovations late last year, we felt it was time to check in and see what our potential customers thought of Accent Inns,” says Mandy Farmer, president of Accent Inns. “The focus group results were shocking. Going by our name and look, many people thought we were an American owned run of the mill chain. For a company that is owned and operated by a BC family, we were heart broken. Although most of us have causes that we support both financially and emotionally, there are very few of us that would jump on a bicycle and pedal across Canada to spread the word about something we truly believe in. Jeremy Bally is one of those people. On April 27, Jeremy left Mile 0 in Victoria BC and began his life as a Travelling Minstrel as he mounted his bicycle and headed east.
