Many British Columbians don’t know that the BC Cancer Foundation is the largest funder of cancer research in the province and that research IS working! B.C. has the lowest incidence rates for all cancers combined, the lowest rates of cancer mortality in Canada and the best breast cancer outcomes in the world. But there is still more work to be done. There are plenty of events going on in our local communities, wine & food festivals, even a marathon in Victoria BC. 20140725_120046Accent Inns’ easy-to-spot, iconic blue roofs haven’t changed over the years, but just about everything beneath them has. In Victoria, we have just completed an expansion to our lobby as well as we’ve added a new breakfast room, all with a West Coast design and feel to it. Construction will begin this fall on a brand new restaurant, scheduled to open in early 2015. And all of our locations have new bedding – gone are the bedspreads which have been replaced with upgraded linens for a more modern look. (more…)
