She Kills Me is a 13-episode series of comedy specials that will shine the spotlight on over two dozen hilarious, established and up-and-coming Canadian female comics, including Dawn Dumont, Sharon Shorty, Carilynn Nicholson, Katie-Ellen Humphries, Sharon Mahoney, Carolyn Mark and Karen Brelsford. For over 20 years, November has been recognized as National Adoption Awareness Month. The goal of this important month is to help raise awareness about the over 1,000 children and youth in BC who are registered and waiting to be adopted. Each year, a Provincial Proclamation kicks off activities and celebrations that promote positive perceptions, draw attention to important adoption related issues, and celebrate families formed by adoption. National Adoption Awareness Month is a time for adoptees, adoptive parents, advocates, and professionals to celebrate adoption and remind others that hundreds of children are still waiting for a permanent, loving family to call their own. Victoria, BC, October 23, 2013 – The Accent Inns hotel chain has made a few changes at their Victoria BC Corporate offices. They welcome Mr. Smith Munro as their new Director of Operations. Smith brings 30 plus years of management experience to the chain. He’s managed a broad spectrum of hotel brands; Intercontinental Hotel group, Holiday Inns, Crowne Plaza hotels and most recently Marriott International. A Scotsman, prior to coming to Canada in 1981, worked with Trust Houses Forte, British Transport Hotels and several other hospitality properties in the United Kingdom. ”For a small chain, Accent Inn’s has certainly done big things.
