Celebrate National Aboriginal Day
Accent Inns is pleased to see Tsawout First Nation and the W̱SÁNEĆ Nations elders from across BC, Alberta, the Yukon and Washington gathering in Victoria, BC in July to reconnect, socialize and celebrate their culture and history. We hope those attending enjoy Victoria and manage to explore our wonderful city and discover its many attractions.
Honoring senior people in our community is important, as is thanking them for their contribution to our lives and our communities. We hope all who attend have a truly wonderful and rewarding experience.
Our company has a long and true relationship with our Aboriginal friends here in BC and enjoy welcoming them as guests at our many hotels. Our Kelowna and Victoria hotels enjoy a particularly close relationship with many local bands and nations. We sincerely thank them for their support.
In advance of the elder’s gathering, we encourage all our local communities to celebrate National Aboriginal Day on June 21st. To rejoice and learn about the culture and contributions of Canada’s Aboriginal peoples.
