Hi Colin,
We understand the allergy issue completely. We make sure to have certain rooms designated pet friendly and others not to help avoid any concerns. Just let us know your concerns when booking so that we can choose a room appropriately. As for the fear, once again people can give us the heads up but when it comes to public areas that's a tough one. Those folks would have to consider the environment and make their own decisions. I can say though that in general we have found the dogs that travel with their owners to be very friendly and well behaved and we ask that guests keep their dogs on a leash when in public areas. Thanks so much for the comment

The only downside are those folks that have allergies to pet hair and dander - I have an awesome mortgage broker - but he keeps his dog in the office - so we load up on antihistamines prior to visiting -
The other question is: What about people that are afraid of dogs? Etc.

My work place is somewhat huge relative to a small business and pets of any kind (assistance creatures are exempt of course) are verboten -- and not surprising consider the number of folks that are adverse to domesticated animals.

I grew up on a farm - I love creatures of all kinds. Just offering the alternate perspective.
