Kids Coin Drive for Variety –The Children’s Charity

The Kids Coin Drive for Variety is an annual fundraiser now in its 9th year. What started as a small penny drive has become a province-wide campaign that has raised over $1.5 million! The Coin Drive’s biggest supporters are all kids who have been helped by Variety and now fundraise on behalf of children who other children who need Variety’s support.
Young philanthropists from around the province will be in Burnaby on Wednesday, September 1st to kick-off the 9thannual Kids Coin Drive for Variety. All of the children involved have been helped by Variety – The Children’s Charity and are now giving back to the cause by raising money for other kids like them. Kids from outside of the Lower Mainland will be staying at the Accent Inn in Burnaby hotel while in town!
This year’s campaign is being spearheaded by twelve incredible kids: Alisa, Eddy, Julia and Mason from the Lower Mainland, Hannah, Angel, Max, Mackenzie V. and Mackenzie H. from Vancouver Island, Isabella from the Okanagan, Kyle from Kamloops and Kira from Prince George. All of these Coin Kids fundraise with one common goal – to ensure that Variety is there for other children as it was for them.
The Kids Coin Drive for Variety is proof that a little goes a long way! Over the last eight years, the province-wide fundraiser has raised over $1.5 million! All funds raised will help kids in British Columbia who have special needs.
